Alright, I need some advice regarding my chart.

At this point, I do NOT think I have ovulated.

http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/ilovenickle

I was using advanced detection, and it had given me dashed crosshairs on CD17. After talking with a VIP monitor, she changed my detection to fertility awareness method, and sayd I should use that for this cycle, and if a better date becomes obvious, it will give me crosshairs again.

Should I discard any temps, or leave it as it is? This is my first cycle charting temps, and a lot has heppened. On CD18 and 19, my alarm clock had broken and those temperatures were taken later than usual. For a few days, I had a cold. On August 3rd, I got a chemical burn in my eye, and that day was stressful. Also, due to an operation I had 9 years ago, it is common for me to have to wake up during the night to urinate. In fact, last night it happened two or three times.

Can anyone offer any advice?

Home Insurance Advice

If you do not have coverage for the fair or full value of the owned property, you will not be able to get financial help from mortgage companies. A few tips can make your home insurance meet your needs: Homeowners’ insurance isn’t cheap. People living in areas more prone to earthquakes, floods or high claim areas pay the highest coverage. Sometimes, high-risk residents are asked to pay thousands of dollars as annual premiums. However, this does not means that homeowners of secluded, suburban areas can buy a cheap policy. The basic policy for relatively out-of-the-way areas lies between 100-500 US dollars. Many people restrain from purchasing homeowner’s insurance because of the expenses involved in it. Homeowner’s insurance is not a choice that you can make. It is absolutely necessary and you should not refrain from buying it. The best thing about this is that you can cut down its cost by following some steps. 1) You Security Alarm Helps Cut Down Premium Costs: By installing a burglar alarm in your house and connecting it with a police station can help you cut down your premium costs up to 5 percent. However, in order to avail this benefit, you will have to show the insurance company the contract paper. Smoke alarms can also make things easy for you. Usually, a smoke alarm is installed in all newly built houses but if you set a smoke alarm in an old house, you can save more than 8 percent on your premium amount. Keeping you away from fire is another benefit that they give. So get the alarms for your safety and cut down your insurance cost. 2) Increase Deductible To Decrease Premium: Just like any other kind of insurance, if you choose a higher deductible for your homeowner insurance, you will have to pay lesser premium. This is another simple and easy way to keep away from paying higher premiums. 3) Buy From the Same Insurance Company: Instead of buying your auto and health insurance policies from other companies, consider purchasing them from the same company where you have bought your homeowner policy. There are a lot of companies that allow a discount up to 10 percent to all their customers who buy multiple policies from them. In this way, you can save on two or more premiums and control your expenses considerably. Moreover, you will stay away from the hassle of contacting different companies in case of any incident. 4) Pay Back Your Mortgage Loans: People who repay their debts to mortgage companies have to pay smaller premiums. You may wonder why it’s so. The answer is downright simple. The owner who manages to pay back his loans to take possession of his homes is also capable of taking care of his home. Once you satisfy Mortgage Company, the insurance company will satisfy you. End Note In order to keep yourself away from any kind of trouble and to receive your insurance money in time, make sure that you have everything written in black and white. Moreover, take pictures and make a video of your home. Keep the pictures and movies somewhere safe, preferably at your siblings’ place. This will constitute a record of the belongings of the homeowner and can be presented to the insurance company in case of any kind of calamity. Moreover, it will save you from a lot of fatigue and time for claiming your possessions, if the disaster really occurs.

Home Security Advice For The Independent Woman

<!– @page { margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } A:link { so-language: zxx } –>

Being a woman has never been easy. Throughout history women have endured periods of oppression and have been considered inferior to men. Today, women are becoming more and more powerful in their roles. Women are politicians, they are CEOs of top companies, and they help defend the country in wars. Indeed, women have fought for the positions that they hold today. Unfortunately, for the woman who lives alone, she is more likely to be threatened by a home intruder than is her male counterpart. For this reason, it is highly important that women living by themselves implement extra home security measures.

For women young and old, it is necessary to make sure that your home is well protected and safe. Especially if you are living in an urban environment where crimes are more likely to happen, you need to be extra cautious. A smart criminal does not make random attacks, rather, he observes the situation that he will encounter when he commits his crime. This means that he will watch you enter and leave your house over a period of time, taking note that you live by yourself. And because you are a woman, he will find you an easier target that is less capable of defending herself.

To better improve your home security, you should install a deadbolt lock to the entrance of your home. This will make it more difficult for a potential criminal to enter the house. Of course, since you are living by yourself, you are likely very good at remembering to lock the door. You must take full responsibility if anything should happen to your home, so never slack in making sure that it is well secured.

You’ll also want to set up a home alarm system. Should a break-in occur, you can set the alarm to alert authorities immediately, or within a specific amount of time. Being the only inhabitant of the home, it would be safest that you set a minimal delay time between the sounding alarm and when the system notifies authorities. It is difficult to respond quickly when a home intrusion occurs, and you don’t want to risk your life trying to get to the telephone.

Another measure you can take to better protect yourself is to enroll in self-defense classes. Many fitness centers and YMCAs offer classes specifically designed for women, taking into consideration the physique and physical capabilities of the female form. Taking a class will not only give you strength, but it will also prepare you for the worst situations. You’ll be able to defend yourself in no time.

Home security is important for all people to consider, but even more so for females who are living on their own. Make sure you have a sturdy and secure entrance to your home. Installing an alarm system will keep you safe in situations where you do not have enough time to notify police. And to further strengthen your defense, take a self-defense class at a local fitness center so that you can defend yourself should the situation arise. Your ability to defend yourself only contributes to the advancement of women.

Let adt security help you out in case of an emergency. An adt alarm system will notify you, as well as the local police of a break-in.

What advice can you give me to get rid of a bad habit?

I cannot for the life of me wake up at a decent hour. I am very accustomed to stating up late and sleeping in but I recently started my new job (I work 3:30 till 11:00 p.m.) and I have difficulty going to sleep when I get home and waking up when I want to. I want to go t o sleep at 1 a.m. so I can get 8 hours of sleep and be ready to wake up at 9 a.m. This never happens. I come home from work around 11:30 and I’m full of energy. I pop 2 sleeping pills and I straighten up my apartment, feed my cat, call me friends and mom, wash my face, start watching TV. The pills (over the counter) seem to kick in but they never give me that full I-can’t-keep-my-eyes-open effect. Finally around 3 I get so pissed that I’m 2 hours off schedule that I go to bed….and lay there for about 45 min to an hour. I end up waking up around 12:30. My alarm will start going off at 9 and I will push snooze until 12!! I think the pills make me really drowsey also and I have no energy when I wake to get things done!!
One of the reasons I wanted to wake up early is to work out (I have a tredmil in my apartment) but I read somewhere else that exercising at night makes you stay awake longer! Plus I don’t want to go to sleep covered in sweat! (taking a shower would really wake me up and it would take even longer!) Cant affort a ‘sleep specialist’

This fact has caused an unprecedented increase in crimes against normal everyday citizens like you and me.

If you have a limited budget but are in need of a quality yet affordable home security system then you should visit one of the leading home security store chains with locations throughout North America. The Home Security Store group is one of the best places that home security do-it-yourselfers, who want to create their own security measures and have some control over how to do it, can visit.

Great Variety of Popular Home Security Options

Homeowners who are interested in putting together a DIY home security system can choose from a large range of different system configurations. For example you can choose a ‘hardwire alarm’ where you physically wire different contact points such as doors or windows to a central alarm system. Alternatively you could elect to install a wireless alarm system. These systems do not require hard wiring to different contact points, instead these wireless varieties use radio wave frequencies and rely on batteries for their power supply.

You could choose to install security cameras, particularly if you have expensive valuables like paintings or other collectables. Some security cameras sold at the Home Security Store use digital technology and DVRs or computers to record the surveillance footage that is taken by your system. The home security store also stocks a range of different Video intercom systems. These devices are excellent for installing at the gateways to your property.

Choosing The Home Security Products To Suit Your Home

The Home Security Store has extremely experienced and knowledgeable staff who are only too happy to assist you in your selection of devices and they also offer technical support. Advice on a home security alarm? With camera?

I live in a small town that does have some issues. Recently my truck has been keyed repeatedly. Last night it was parked in my locked yard and was still keyed. So I am now thinking I need a camera. I have been looking on line but have no clue where to begin. I saw companies that have a cheaper fee if you putting in the equipment yourself but I’m not sure how to do it all or how to set up cables for a camera. The basics, my house has two doors, four windows people could probably crawl through and five windows that I don’t think they could make it through. Their small and mostly high off the ground. I have a basement with only outside access with a small door that is chained shut. I don’t have a home telephone and the internet service in town is not very reliable. I don’t have the desire to monitor my home online while I’m gone, but I do want it to record in case there is some damage to my truck. My yard is enclosed with a chain link fence that I do lock. I also already have a pit bull that is very scary but that didn’t stop my truck from being keyed. My area is very well lit and no scrubs or anything to get in the way. The last person I ever had a problem with was years ago and I have no idea who would be keying my truck. Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks.

The Best Home Security Help And Advice

Is home security important? Well, if you have already been burgled then you know the answer to that. So many people think that home security is something they must do, but don’t really get around to doing anything about it. By not taking action and addressing your home security weaknesses you are running a big risk. TV’s, hi-fi’s and games machines can easily be replaced but can you really afford to lose all of your personal possessions, precious heirlooms and sentimental items of value and importance? The following are the many ways that you can improve your home security and give peace of mind that your home is properly protected.

Burglar Alarm Systems This should be the first home improvement you must make if you want to increase your home security. Alarm systems generally consist of a control panel, siren and a variety of sensors to trigger a burglar intrusion. There is a choice of hard wired or wireless type systems. Wireless systems are a very popular choice as they are cheap and easy to install although sensors require a regular battery change. Technology has improved somewhat and they are less prone to false alerts nowadays. Hard wired systems are generally more permanent and more stable and used in professional installations. They have higher install costs and there will be a lot of disruption during installation.

Monitored Home Security Monitored home security is when your home burglar alarm system is connected to a alarm monitoring company and their job is to watch over your home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If your alarm is triggered they will send out help to assist with your emergency, be it police, fire or ambulance. They will charge a small monthly fee but you may find that by having monitored home security your insurance premium may drop – thus offsetting the monitoring costs.

Security Cameras Closed Circuit Television or CCTV is a popular method to visually and sometimes audibly, monitor and record activity directly outside your property. There are simple, inexpensive systems that simply send a signal to your TV or a monitor for you to view. Or there are more sophisticated systems that can record images and video digitally from many security cameras that may be monitoring your property. The digital images can sometimes be viewed remotely, all around the world via the internet. There are many choices of camera. Again, security cameras can be both hard wired and wireless, color or black and white and some even operate in the dark via infrared.

External Security Lighting External security lighting is one of the cheapest – yet effective – home security improvements you can make. The burglar does not want to be seen when breaking into a property so external lighting will be sure to put him off. It is recommended to buy the security lighting with an attached PIR motion sensor this will switch on immediately when movement is detected.

Deadbolts Locks For Securing Doors Deadbolt locks provide an additional security obstacle for your external doors and will make it nigh on impossible for the burglar to get into your property via the protected door. These days biometrics are becoming popular offering keyless locks with gadgets such as fingerprint readers to allow the door to be opened.

Driveway Monitors A driveway monitor will detect the entry of someone onto your land giving you an early warning of someone’s presence. It could be an expected visitor, friend or neighbour, but it could equally be an unwanted intruder.

Security Window Bars Security window bars provide both a visual and physical deterrent to a burglar making them think twice about breaking into a property. A burglar does not want to draw attention to himself when breaking into a property and also wants to be very quick to enter the property. By installing window bars you will slow him down and he will create noise when trying to remove the window bars. This should be enough for him to move on, even before he has attempted a break-in.

These are just a few of the many ways to prevent to burglar entering your property and making off with your property and valuables.

Reduce Your Risk of a Break-In or Home Invasion with These Simple Tips. Advice from Jordan Frankel, Founder and VP of Global Security Experts

Reinforce Your Home’s Alarm System, Doors, and Windows

Although living in an active urban city can offer numerous advantages—a plethora of retail stores, restaurants, and entertainment, as well as being part of an eclectic group of people that share common interests and values in life—there’s also a terribly unfortunate disadvantage to life in urban cities—higher crime rates, burglaries, and home invasions.

Just as unemployment rates, bankruptcies, and inflation continue to increase during these tough economical times, so does crime in urban cities.  To help protect yourself, your family and your home against these potentially lethal risks, it’s imperative to assess the various levels of security in your home and apply extra safety measures where needed.  One simple yet vital step you can take is to reinforce well-known security weak points of your home—your alarm system, doors, and windows.

Alarm System:  A home alarm system should be viewed as a necessity in any urban city location.  Not only do home alarm systems offer another level of protection for you and your family, they’re also quite effective.  Yet, even with an alarm system installed, due to busy lives and often times a false sense of security, homeowners quite often fail to set their alarms.  This can be a dangerous mistake, as this open invite gives criminals just what they need—a low-risk opportunity to gain entrance into your home, steal your belongings, and potentially harm you or your family in the process.  Don’t make this mistake!  Whether your home or not, always set your alarm.  In addition, strengthen the effectiveness and security of your alarm system by taking the following steps:

Your home alarm system should be connected directly to the alarm company’s main monitoring station so that law enforcement is notified when the alarm is triggered.

The central panel of your alarm system should always be located inside your home and/or behind a locked door or cabinet.  This will prevent prowlers from tampering with your alarm system.

Ensure that your home alarm system has motion sensors and sensors to warn you of glass breakage.  These sensors will provide instant notification that an intruder is close to entering or has just entered your home.

Make sure to install a cellular dialer as a back-up to your standard phone line.  This will ensure continued contact with the alarm system monitoring station if power or phone lines are cut by a criminal with evil intents.

Every alarm system should come with signs from the alarm company.  Make sure to display these signs where they can be easily seen outside your home.  This will act as a deterrent, as burglars know there’s a higher chance of being seen or caught if they attempt to break into a home with a noisy and attention-getting alarm.

Doors:  When it comes to the doors of your home, you can strengthen the security they provide by replacing hollow-cored doors with doors that are made of metal or solid wood.  Hollow doors are weak and cannot withstand the vigorous thrusts and kicks that can occur during an attempted break-in like metal and solid-wood doors can.  Also, take time to replace the screws of each door hinge with steel screws that are 3.5 inches in length.  Doing so will greatly increase the strength of your doors and better secure them to the door frames and at the cost of just a few dollars. And in my opinion, installing a security door brace such as the OnGUARD, which you can find at http://www.globalsecurityexperts.com, is probably the best investment a homeowner can make. Unlike an alarm system, The OnGUARD security brace keeps the intruder on the outside of your home.

Windows:  One of the easiest ways for thieves to gain access to your home is through glass windows and door panes.  U.S. statistics show that between 75%-80% of burglaries occur by way of breaking through a door or window.  To better strengthen the glass windows around your home, install window and glass protection film.  With this protective layer of film applied to windows, breaking the glass becomes a difficult process.  In order to break the glass, a potential intruder would have to apply great force and effort that would produce quite a bit of noise—something criminals want to avoid.  One highly effective and affordable window protection film is that made by http://www.ShatterGUARD.com, one of the largest glass protection and security device companies in the U.S.  ShatterGUARD’s window protection films are trusted not only by the banking and telecommunications industries, but also by the U.S. military and law enforcement departments across the nation.

When it comes to the security of your home, it never pays to be complacent.  Failing to install security door brace, glass protection film and setting your home’s alarm system can be costly and potentially dangerous mistakes, as it only allows easier access to your home—exactly what criminals and home invaders are looking for when targeting homes.  By taking time to increase the strength of your home’s security, you’ll decrease your chances of ever becoming a victim of a potential intruder.

Advice For A Home Security Plan

A home alarm system is certainly a good idea to make your home more secure however, additional precautions should be taken to make your home as safe as possible and to ensure the safety of you and your family members. In this article I have detailed some simple but very important steps that you can do in order to prevent a burglary. It is crucial to be watchful at all times, particularly if you are going to be away for an extended period of time such as a vacation. Ask your neighbors or relatives to check on your property on a regular basis, turning lights on and off and making sure your doors and windows are secure. It is a also a very good idea to leave a vehicle parked in the driveway. Summertime is among the most frequent times for burglaries since many people leave their windows open on warm summer days so be certain to secure your windows, especially if you are going to be away. Dogs are a great deterrent to burglars or thieves and can also be faithful companions as well. Install exterior lights around all outside entranceways. Sensor lighting is a good idea but make sure it is not too sensitive because if it is it will become annoying and no one will pay attention to it if it is turning off and on constantly. If you’re planing on being out in the evening time, its always a good idea to leave one or two lights on to make it look like someone is home. A dark home without any automobile in the drive will tell any would be burglar or thief that your home will be a easy target. Close all drapes or mini blinds when you’re not at home. Whenever you’re gone, get a acquaintance or relative to do this each night. Do not leave any valuables lying around or hidden out in conspicuous places. Make sure they’re securely stashed away. Clip your bushes on a regular basis. You might believe it appears pretty , but having overgrown shrubs is not good for the security of your home. Burglars may easily hide out behind the over grown shrubs in your yard, so do not allow your landscape to grow wildly. Purchase strong locks for your doors and windows. Replace your old or worn locks with newer sturdy locks for more protection against would-be burglars.

Do not hide out extra keys anyplace close to your home. Door frames, doormats, mailboxes, and flower pots are often used by homeowners to hide spare keys. Many would be burglars and thieves are aware of this habit and check in these places. Don’t make it easy for a burglar to break into your home by leaving a key for him.

If you follow these few guidelines you should feel assured about your home security plan. Remember, if a burglar is really determined to break into your home then they will usually find a way but its up to you make it as difficult as possible for the thief to burglarize your home.
