There is no need to worry too much about the safety of your home while your away because the likelihood of someone breaking in is slim and in all honesty the most valuable item (you) are not in the house so the rest is just incidental. Take every precaution you can to ensure that your house is secure and that you feel safe once you return, but it is important to enjoy your time away and not to worry about the state of affairs at home. I have so many bills to pay! Any advice would be hugely appreciated!?
I work full time and take home $2000.00 per month. These are my bills: (monthly basis)
Mortgage- $640.00
Water- $50.00
Taxes on home- $180.00
Electricity and Hydro- $200.00
Car payment- $225.00
Car Insurance- $120.00
Home Insurance- $50.00
Home Alarm- $30.00
Cable, phone, internet- $130.00
Gas for car- $120.00
Groceries- $250.00
This adds up to $1995.00 per month leaving me with $5.00 when all bills are paid. My wife suffers from severe depression and does not leave the home and is unable to work. She is not collecting any type of income.
Can I continue to get by like this on a long term basis? We have been living like this for a year now, barely making ends meet but luckily, we have no credit card debts at all.
We don’t have any savings either.
Do I sell my home?

A Brief History Of The Home Alarm

This alarm was simple but introduced a conept that is still important to modern alarm systems: using loud noises to draw attention to a break-in site and scare burglars away.
Holmes developed his invention into a business, which he ran out of New York until 1905, when it was bought by the American Telephone and Telegraph Company. This company introduced the concept of monitoring services, by linking Holmes’ home alarm systems to police and fire departments with the help of an advanced electrical grid.
The next big advancement in burglar alarm technology came in the form of motion sensors, which were introduced in the 1970s. These motion sensors detected movement by using basic ultrasonic technology to transmit a series of sound waves to and from the sensor. An intruder would trigger, or “trip,” the alarm by interrupting these waves. Thus, this technology essentially eliminated the need for actual tripwires.
Throughout the 1980s, motion sensors evolved and improved a great deal. Ultrasonic technology was replaced with infrared technology, which reduced false alarms, or “false positives.” This is when an alarm goes off in the absence of an emergency or problem and can be a waste of time and resources to the homeowner as well as the response units involved. Better electrical were also developed that allowed for more comprehensive security systems.
In the 1990s, home security systems became more affordable and subsequently more commonplace. Many of the cheaper packages being offered included free installation, and home systems began to be connected via telephone lines to the security company itself, in addition to police and fire departments. This allowed for even faster response times.

Setting up home network can’t be this hard.?
I have 2 laptops and a desktop that all connect to the internet through a netgear router. The desktop is connected via ethernet directly to the router and the laptops are connected wirelessly. Both laptops have the free version of zone alarm firewall protection. I hooked up the laptops temporarily to the router via ethernet and wireless while I ran the network setup wizard on all 3 computers. I made sure the workgroup name was exactly the same and file/printer sharing was on. When I go to network places on the desktop Residential Gateway and shared docs on (DESKTOP) appears under local network. On laptop 1 it has Residential Gateway and shared docs on (LAPTOP1) appears under local network. On laptop 2 it has Residential Gateway appears under local network and shared docs on (LAPTOP2) appears under the internet. None of the computers recognize each other and this is getting frustrating. How to set up zone alarm to make it work or what am i doing wrong.
PLEASE HELP!!!!
I disabled zone alarm and still other cpus dont show up under network places. I tried typing ip address into windows explorer and that lets me access the files but how do i get it to show up in network places.
I am being stalked, harassed etc as the object of a law enforcement vendetta? They burglarize home & car. How?
Strange vehicles are parked by my apt for months at a time. Why? After removing a GPS from my car they have installed another I can’t find..where? They pick locks and bypass my new security alarm…how? They clone cell phones, bug the landline and know my every move..how? An ex is involved; any advice?
